We are Responders First, a grant program founded by Westside Coalition, supporting first responders in the City of Los Angeles by providing in kind grants up to $10,000 per project.
Every day, Los Angeles’ first responders risk their lives to keep our communities safe. Through “Responders First”, we provide critical in-kind grants to equip our heroes with the tools they need to serve and protect. Your donation, big or small, directly supports life-saving equipment, training, and community programs for LA’s bravest. For example, $50 buys new tools which a majority of stations do not have, while $5,000 funds new exercise equipment and many more essential needs.
